I started painting about ten years ago using oil paints. I realized how much I enjoyed painting and soon I switched to acrylic paints after another year. I spent most of my free time learning how to paint independently and with the help of online artists. The more I put paint to paper, the more I loved it, and I came up with some beautiful paintings. I grew up in New England and the Southwest and lived in parts of Virginia and Southern California as an adult. I have seen many of the scenes I have painted. These paintings are close to my heart and while I’m glad to have captured the comfort they’ve brought me, I hope you also get a taste of the breathtaking colors, life, and texture I use to emulate the beauty they capture. In time, I started appreciating the beauty of nature and all living things, and my paintings evolved into seascapes, birds, flowers, and a few animals. I have years of experience working in water and hydropower, which feeds my desire to conserve nature and nature’s most precious resource, water.
I have a strong desire to paint all things in nature and bring out the beauty in all living things, and my goal is to encourage people to see the beauty in all living things.
