I became interested in creating art in high school when I enrolled in an art major course in my senior year. I dabbled with several mediums but settled on photography for many years after high school. I started watercolor painting in 1988 and have studied under several local artists in Westford, Mass. In recent years, I have taken workshops with several national level watercolor artists: Robert O’Brien, Soon Y Warren, Laurie Goldstein-Warren and Lana Privitera.
I am a Signature member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, an elected member of the Academic Artists Association, an Associate member of the American Watercolor Society, and a member of the Chelmsford Art Society.
I paint in a realistic style and paint a wide variety of subject matter. I sometimes use a “pouring” technique to create some watercolors.
